How to use Today
It's the same help you get inside the app. In case you want to read it before downloading, or out in the field with barely any signal.
1Pick where you're looking from
Tap the name of the place at the very top. You can use GPS, search for a city, or pick one of the towns it suggests under «Near you».
2Read the bands from top to bottom
Each bar is a moment of the day with its time, its temperature and its sky. Golden hour is the warm, low light; blue hour is the stretch just before sunrise and just after sunset.
3Switch tabs
Sun, Moon and Places share the screen. Moon shows tonight's phase and when it rises and sets; Places shows what there is to photograph within 30 km of you.
4Check the weather before you load the car
The card at the top splits low, mid and high clouds. For astrophotography the ones that ruin a night are the high ones: at 80 %, stay home.
5If there's a workshop nearby, it shows up
Under the dashboard you'll find a photographer's outing or workshop within 300 km of you, with its photo. Tap it to see who runs it, when, where, and to book directly with them.
